- Tracking how the site performs, and making changes based on the numbers
- Link building: getting other sites to link to yours, which helps Google trust it
- No guaranteed rankings. Nobody can honestly promise those.
How the $750 price works
- I build your site with AI tools, using your notes, and read every page myself before it goes live. That is how it stays quick and affordable.
- Want to log in and edit the site yourself? I can build it that way. The price is higher, so just ask.
- Want every word written by hand, with no AI? Happy to do that too. The price is higher, so just ask.
3. What it costs altogether
My work and the other companies' bills, in one estimate. Start with the website, then add only what you want. Nothing is ordered here.
- One-time costs
- $750.00$750.00 to Jordan; $0.00 for selected extras.
- Monthly bills combined
- $8.40$0.00 to Jordan + $8.40 for email.
- Domain, paid yearly
- About $11.00Your web address. Registration and renewal depend on the name.
- Estimated first year
- $861.80One-time costs + 12 months of bills + one domain year.
My setup payment: $375.00 to start and $375.00 at launch. Other purchases are paid when ordered; subscriptions follow their billing dates.
Includes one Google Workspace email account on monthly billing ($8.40/month). Quo uses monthly billing for one user ($19) plus the upper end of its texting fee ($3/month), and adds $19.50 once for registration. Marketing assumes the selected hours every month; actual bills follow hours used.
Not in the estimate: taxes, shipping, Square payment fees, paid ads or directory memberships, and extra help or changes outside the chosen work budget. Extra work is $50/hr, quoted first. This is a planning estimate; the final quote will list the services and billing terms you choose.

Want me to arrange the purchases?
You pay the companies directly
The domain, email and any phone subscription use your billing details. My invoice covers my work. Domain and email setup are already part of the website package.
You keep access to the accounts and receive their renewal notices.
Ask for one combined quote
If you'd rather I arrange the purchases, tell me which extras you want. I'll quote my work, the selected subscriptions and any hardware together before anything is bought.
We'll agree whether I bill you for those costs or use your card with the providers, and who pays each renewal. Ongoing bills are only included when the quote says so. The accounts still belong to you.
Set up Square on your iPad
Square Free lets you send invoices and take payments without a monthly software fee. You can follow these steps yourself. If you'd like help with the iPad, reader or invoice setup, I'll quote that separately at $50/hr.
Five steps to get started
- Create your account. Go to Square's signup page, use an email you control and choose your business type. Start with Square Free.
- Verify your business and connect your bank. Enter the details Square requests yourself, directly in Square. Link the bank account where you want customer payments deposited.
- Install the app. Download Square Point of Sale from the App Store on your iPad and sign in. Check your iPad's compatibility before buying a reader.
- Connect a reader if you want tap or chip payments. Charge the $59 reader and turn on Bluetooth. In Square, open More > Settings > Hardware > Square Readers > Connect a Reader, then follow the prompts.
- Prepare an invoice. Open Invoices in your Square Dashboard or the Square Invoices app. Add the customer, work description, amount and due date, then choose payment methods. Save a draft and check it before sending it to a customer.
What you pay when a customer pays
Square takes a processing fee from each electronic payment. These fees go to Square and vary with how much you collect, so they are separate from the website estimate.
- Bank payment through an invoice: 1%, with a $1 minimum.
- Card tapped or inserted in the reader: 2.6% + 15¢.
- Card paid through an invoice: 3.3% + 30¢.
- Card number typed in manually: 3.5% + 15¢.
Rates shown are for Square Free in the US. See Square's plans and fees.
Start with invoices if you prefer
You can send an invoice without buying a reader. Your customer opens the payment link on their own phone or computer. Add the reader later if you want to take cards at the job.
You handle Square's identity and bank checks even if I help with the setup. Customer payments go to your Square account and linked bank.
A separate business number, if you want one
Quo, formerly OpenPhone, puts a business number in an app on your existing phone. Customers call or text that number, so your personal number can stay private.
One number for the business
Use it on the website and listings, with voicemail and business hours. Choose the number before the listings are created so the contact details match.
Business texting needs carrier registration and approval. Some services do not send verification codes to internet phone numbers, so keep your regular mobile number available for account verification.
How to get it
Create your Quo account, choose a number, install the app and complete the business-texting registration. Or ask me to include help with this in the combined quote.
The estimate above allows $22/month and $19.50 once for one user. A second paid user would cost extra.
Good to know
You own everything
- Domain, email, business listings, contact list and any phone or Square accounts belong to you
- I manage the website side for you
- You can stop my monthly work anytime. Provider subscriptions follow the terms you choose.
How it works
- Pick a look, a setup and a monthly option
- Half of the setup to start, half at launch
- Send your project photos
Next step: text me your look, setup and monthly choice. Say whether you want a business number or Square reader, and whether you'd prefer to pay the companies directly or have me quote it together.
